DLS Announces Partnerships with West Hawaii Hospitals
Diagnostic Laboratory Services, Inc. (DLS), the largest locally owned medical lab in Hawaii, is excited to announce its upcoming partnership with Kona Community Hospital and Kohala Hospital, which comprise the West Hawaii Region of the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation (HHSC). DLS will be the onsite laboratory operator for these hospitals starting late June 2024.

Kona Community Hospital: A Century of Healthcare Excellence
Kona Community Hospital, established in 1914, has 94 acute care beds and provides 24-hour emergency and level III trauma services. With a dedicated workforce of more than 600 employees, the hospital has been a cornerstone of healthcare in the region for over a century. Kohala Hospital provides acute care, skilled nursing and emergency services. The mission of these facilities is to provide a healing environment to all the people of Hawaii.
